FARMERS’ UNION DECISION By Teleermh— Pres? Association WELLINGTON, July 16. The Dominion Farmers’ Union conference, after consideration of a Southland remit asking that the attention of the Government should be drawn to the fact that the farm labourer was taxed on the basis of 15/- a week for keep, while the farmer was allowed only 10/-. decided that the question of increasing the allowance above 10/be taken up by the Dominion executive.
