MEETING OF RESIDENTS The annual meeting of residents was lielci in tile Coronation Hall on Tuesday evening when there was a fair attendance. Mr A. Earl presided. The secretary read the balance sheet which showed a credit balance of over £5. The following committee was formed to make arrangements for a ball.— Mr A. Earl (chairman), Miss R. Flowers, Mrs W. E. RIVER HIGH AGAIN The Orari river is running fairly high again at Victoria Bridge, Orari, the recent warm rains having melted the snow.
