In the House of Commons, supporting a successful amendment to the Finance Bill, allowing bottle license holders to sell British wines in less than pint bottles, Mr W. S. Liddall said at one time these were called raisin and orange ginger, and if to-day they were given a more fancy name they would still be the same stuff, which abstainers delighted to provide at weddings and funerals.
