OPERATION ON HEART
SURGICAL MIRACLE IN LONDON United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph -Convright LONDON, July 15. A surgical miracle at St. James’ Hospital saved the life of a London resident, who was stabbed twice in the heart. According to “The Lancet,” the heart was steadied by hand, and the first wound, which was three-quarters of an inch, was stitched up, and the heart replaced in the cavity. It still bled, and the second wound was discovered and similarly stitched.
