STRIKERS APPEAL
SEQUEL TO TRANSPORT “TRIAL” United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph -Copyright LONDON, July 15. The suspended London busmen decided to appeal to the Appeals Committee, provided for under the constitution of the Transport Workers’ Union. (A message received on Thursday said that the Transport Workers’ Union, after secret “trials,” expelled seven members, including Mr Papworth, who allegedly unofficially assumed the leadership in the early stages of the recent London bus strike.)
