HARRIERS
HALSWELL CUP RACE The Timaru Harrier Management Committee has entered the following team to compete in the Halswell Cup Race at Christchurch:—L. Williams, Rex. Taylor, D. Squire, H. Ward, C. Langrish, J. Strachan. Several prominent runners were not available. However, the team is a fairly strong one, and should run prominently. Club runs on Saturday are as follows: The Timaru Club will be the guests of Mrs Ross, Sarah Street. Tire West End Club will combine with the Timaru Club. The Presbyterian Club will run from the Children’s Home, North Street, as the guests of the Matron, Miss Campbell. The Anglican Club will be the guests of Mrs and Mr W. Tubb, Roslyn Terrace.
