GAS COMPANY’S STAND AT THE WINTER SHOW
Probably one of the most striking displays at the Winter Show is STAND 23 by The Timaru Gas, Coal and Coke Company, Limited. The Stand Is certain to interest ail visitors to the Show. The Company's sign:— “The Timaru Gas, Coal & Coke Company, limited" across the front of the Stand, “HOT STUFF THIS GAS” on the North end of the Stand, with “ALWAYS AT YOUR SERVICE” on the South end Immediately draws attention to the splendid Gas exhibit. On the face of each of the seven pillars forming the Stand is a Slogan, as under:— (1) “Doctors Use And Recommend Gas Fires.” (2) “Use Gas And Bank The Balance." (3) “Gas Fires Are Economical, Clean and Hygienic.” (4) ‘Enjoy The Benefits Of The Company’s New Optional All Gas Domestic Tariff." (5) "Gas Has Served Timaru 60 Years And Never a Failure.” (6) “Gas Is Supreme For Cooking, Hot Water. Heating, Refrigeration, Washing." (7) “You Can’t Beat A Flame For Heat.”
