WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION At a meeting of the management committee of the South Canterbury Women’s Hockey Association, Mr Skudder presided. It was agreed to ask the Referees’ Association that the rule about the use of cow-hide on hockey sticks be enforced, and that at some convenient time players’ sticks be tested with a 2 inch ring. A motion of thanks was passed to the Albury Club for its hospitality on June 9. The Stafford Club was congratulated on winning the runners-up cup at the North Otago seven a-slde tournament oi June 9. It was decided to suggest July 10 as a suitable date for the annual repress; .tatlve match with North Otago.
