HAILE SELASSIE IN COURT NEWS United Press Association —B* Telegraph - -Cnovriebt LONDON, June 22. The libel action brought by Halle Selassie against “The Evening Standard” has been settled in the Law Courts. The action concerned the Emperor's alleged imprisonment and ill-treat-ment of Ras Hailu, who stated that he had been released from his chains a cripple, when Haile Selassie left the country. The defendants are satisfied that the story was untrue and apologised. They will pay costs.
