PIPE BAND CONTEST
EVERYTHING WELL IN HAND Everything is well in hand for the Dominion Pipe Band contest, and with a fine day South Canterbury residents should see the finest and most spectacular sight ever staged here. Only two bands have the same tartan and the massed band display should be ;. most attractive one. On Tuesday the officers of the Timaru Band tried out the Caroline Bay sound shell for the selection and it proved very satisfactory.
