SCHOOL STRIKE
GANGSTER METHODS TRIED United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, March 10. Gangster methods entered the Achill Island school strike. Parents aided the children to lie in ambush and rush the school in an attempt to capture the teachers, four of whom left the island, fearing attacks, despite increased police protection. So far nine teachers and parents have been injured. The schoolhouse was considerably damaged.
