VISITORS ENTERTAINED.-The wives of delegates visiting Timaru for the Municipal Conference were taken for a motor drive yesterday afternoon and later entertained at a fternoon tea in the Park, when the above group was photographed. The Mayoresses of many New Zealand towns are seen in the above group which also includes several local hostesses. Seated seventh from left in the second rowis the Mayoress of Timaru (Mrs. P. C. Vinnell) and on her left is the Mayoress of Masterton (Mrs T. Jordan), wife of the president of the Municipal Association. On Mrs Vinnell’s right is Mrs A. E. Hurley (Wellington, wife of the secretary of the Association.
