PLUMBERS DISPUTE

PARTIAL AGREEMENT Ey Telegraph —Pres* Association WELLINGTON, March 10 Waj.es and conditions of employment for plumbers and gasfitters on a Dominion-wide basis occupied the Conciliation Commissioner, Mr M. J. Reardon, in a Conciliation Council today. The parties were the New Zealand federated Plumbers and Gasfitters Industrial Association of Workers and the New Zealand Federation of Master Plumbers. Agreement was rea« hed on the hours of work, holidays and a number of minor points. The proceedings will continue to-morrow. A 40-hour five day week was agreed on.
