EMPIRE PROBLEMS

AGENDA FOR IMPERIAL CONFERENCE United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 10, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON March 9. Tlie agenda for the Imperial Conference has been settled and the Prime Minister (Mr Stanley Baldwin) will shortly announce it in the -House of Commons. The main items are: (1) Foreign policy; (2) a review of the international situation; (3) defence. Britain will present the Dominions with the facts of the dangers of the international situation, allowing them to draw their own conclusions. The obvious implication is that co-opera-tion will be sought not merely towards actively developing the Dominions’ own defences, but combinedly in connection with the keeping open of Imperial communications. Migration, air and shipping communications ::re also being discussed.
