AN OPEN VERDICT
WATERSIDER’S DEATH By Telegraph—Pres Association WELLINGTON, March 10. An open verdict was returned by the Coroner at the adjourned inquest into the death of Gordon Hector Manning, a watersider. The finding was that Manning died in the Wellington Hospital on March 3 from injuries received the same day when stowing cargo in the vessel Durham, a heavy beam falling on him from the level of the hatch.
