A reversal oi the usual course of events in industrial disputes has arisen in the Urewera Country, where 62 employees of the Wilson Timber Mills, Limited, decided by ballot to adopt stay-in strike tactics, as a protest against the alleged victimisation of the mill manager by the company. It is stated that the manager dismissed one of the workers, but was ordered by the company to reinstate him. When the manager refused to do this, he was dismissed.
