FAIRLIE STOCK SALE POOR QUALITY YARDING The entry of store sheep was a large but ordinary quality one for the Fairlie sale which was held yesterday. Although for the most part values were about on a par with Monday’s sale at Pleasant Point, the market was dragging. Harvesting operations interfered with the attendance of farmers. Fat lambs and fat sheep were sold to exporters and butchers at late rates. A small entry of pigs was hard to quit.
