MUNICIPAL CONFERENCE IN TIMARU.— The twenty-seventh annual conference of the Municipal Association of New Zealand opened in the Bay Hall last night in the presence of the Minister of Internal Affairs (Hon. W. E. Parry). The Minister is seen above, at left, with the Mayor of Timaru (Mr P. C. Vinnell), who welcomed the delegates, and, at right, the Mayor of Masterion (Mr T. Jordan), who is president of the Association.
