MARRIAGE OF JAPANESE OLYMPIC SWIMMER United Press Association —By Elerlrtc Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 8, 11.15 p.m.) TOKIO, March 8 The Olympic swimming champion Hideko Maehata married Dr. Masahiko Hyodo, with elaborate ceremonial, at the ancient and famed Atsuta Shrine. The bride wore a gorgeous wedding kimono in contrast to the more accustomed swimming costume. A tremendous crowd witnessed the procession. Hideko said that the marriage would prevent her competln- in Australia, as she once hoped.
