TRADE AGREEMENT
BRIGHT PROSPECTS By Telegraph— Press <fitor!atlon AUCKLAND, March 8. “Although the agreement has not been completed, I am confident that trading conditions favourable both to Canada and Australia will be established In the near future,” said the Hon. W. D. Euler. Canadian Minister of Trade and Commerce, travelling by the Monterey on his return to Canada. He was much impressed by the economic possibilities of Australia, he said. There appeared to be almost a boom at the present time. Business people and Government leaders had great confidence In the future of Australia, and the development taking place should contribute to a steady expansion of Inter-Empire commerce. The difficulties of contacts between Dominions were diminishing, and he hoped that a better understanding of the problems to be solved would lead to increased prosperity.
