DUNEDIN HIGH SCHOOLS By Telegraph—'tm? Association DUNEDIN, March 4. A decrease of 95 in the total registrations at Dunedin’s four local public secondary schools is recorded. The Rector of the Boys’ High School stated that the three reasons assignable were the late start, the general return to prosperity enabling more boys to obtain situations, and the effect of the recent legislation. He expected that the Department would relax the staffing regulations this year, otherwise some teachers would lose their positions.
