VISIT OF AMERICAN NAVAL VESSELS.— Two United Stales destroyers, the Preston (379) and the Smith (378), photographed at Auckland. The vessels are seen berthed at the Naval Base on the arrival from Pago Pago, following a cruise in the Pacific, which, it has been hinted, was made for the purpose of inspecting islands in connection with the establishment by American interests of a flying service to Australia and New Zealand.
