HOSPITAL BOARDS CONFERENCE IN TIMARU. — Delegates who are attending the annual conference of the Hospital Boards Association of New Zealand, photo* graphed outside the Bay Hall yesterday. The conference, which is being attended by about 90 delegates representative of almost every Hospital Board in the Dominion, is meeting to discuss important national questions, the wide scope of which indicates the great activity of the organisation in community service. Seated in the front row, starling seventh from left, arc: Mr E. Macdonald (chairman of the South Canterbury Hospital Board), Dr M. H. Watt (Director-General of Health) and Mr J. W. Dove (newly elected president of the Association).
