OBITUARY
COLONEL G. F. C. CAMPBELL t>y TexegrppD-Pres® Association NELSON, March 3. The death occurred this afternoon with unexpected suddenness at the residence of his son, Captain Campbell, of Stoke, of Colonel G. F. C. Campbell, Controller and Auditor-General. He was on a business tour of the South Island and arrived at Nelson on Thursday from Westport and was visiting his son. Yesterday he paid a visit to Motueka, partly on busmess, partly to visit the locality of his birth, and was to have gone on to Blenheim tomorrow. He was apparently in perfect health to-day, but this afternoon was suddenly taken ill and passed peacefully away. MR JOHN MACKAY By TelesrntJh - Press Association WELLINGTON, March 3.
