INFANTILE PARALYSIS
POSITION AT WAIMATE • The child, aged eight years, who was admitted to hospital on Tuesday as a suspected case of infantile paralysis. has een diagnosed as a positive case. A girl aged two years from Belt Street, Waimate, was admitted to the hospital yesterday as a positive case. The infection is mild and there is no trace of infantile paralysis. ELEVEN OAMARU PATIENTS By Telegraph—' rw* Association OAMARU, March 3 Another positive case of infantile paralysis, a boy aged seven from a country district, was admitted to the Oamaru hospital last evening. The total cases in hospital is now 11. A DEFINITE CASE By Telegrapti —Press Association INVERCARGILL, March 3 Another definite case of infantile paralysis was admitted to the Southland Hospital this morning, the patient being a girl aged 10 from the city who shows slight definite paralysis. The case admitted yesterday is still doubtful.
