“TIRED OF HUMDRUM LIFE”

MOLLISON FLANS NEW ATTEMPT ON CAPE RECORD United Press Association—By Electric Tetestrapb Copvrltsht (Received December 29, 1 a.m.) LONDON, December 28. “I am tired of this humdrum life,” said James Mollison, the famous British aviator, on landing from a South African liner. He was not wearing an overcoat, in spite of the wintry morning. Mollison added: “I intend to make a further attack on the Cape record late In January, flying the same ’plane. I will be accompanied by Molinier. I shall take the West Coast route, which is considerably shorter. Also the high altitudes at some of the east side aerodromes are unsuitable for my machine. I am glad I did not break the record on my recent flight, as I would only have beaten it by a few hours. I want to smash it by a day. I will also fly home.”
