If no rain falls to-night the courts may be playable for long enough to-morrow to permit of the tournament being concluded. This, however, seems at present unlikely. The finals resulted:— Men's singles—A. T. Baird beat A. J. Deaker, 6-3, 6-0, 5-7, 7-5. Women's singles—Mrs Rawlinson (Dunedin) beat Miss K. Cutt, 6-2, 6-3. Men’s doubles—C. J. Rawlinson and K. Boyan (Dunedin) beat A. J. Deaker and A. T. Baird, 6-4, 5-7, 7-5, 6-3. Women’s doubles—Mrs Salisbury and Mrs Rawlinson beat Mrs Hanan and Miss B. Hoyles, 7-5, 3-6, 6-1. Boy’s championship—F. Lindsay (Winton) beat H. P. Armour, 9-3. Girl’s championship—Miss I. Henderson beat Miss F. Janson, 9-5.
