DECEMBER STAKES

LYNCH LAW PROVES HIS SUPERIORITY United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received December 27, 6.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, December 27. The second day of the A.J.C. summer meeting was held at Randwick yesterday in heavy rain. The track was holding. J. T. Jamieson s Limond colt Lynch Law further stressed his claims to be recognised as the best colt of the year by comfortably winning the December Stakes, this being his third victory in three starts. He quickly ran to the front and the issue was never in doubt. Lynch Law has now demonstrated his ability to handle any ground in any circumstances. Jamieson’s other Limond colt, Birthday Boy, was second in the Summer Nursery Handicap. On Parade, relishing the heavy going, convincingly won the A.J.C. Handicap. A protest was entered by E. Hewitt, trainer of El Senorita, against Sir Ross being declared the winner of the Cup.
