NOT IN DANGER
FRENCH CABINET SECURE United Press Association—By Bloctrio Telegraph—Copyright (Received December 25, 6.30 p.m.) PARIS, December 24. The Prime Minister (M. Blum), addressing English and American journalists, said he did not believe that the defeat of his Government was imminent. The Government’s disappearance was inconceivable and absurd but, if it disappeared, it could claim to have improved Franco-Brit-ish and Franco-American relations. While the French, English and American democracies were united, democracy would hold and would eventually prevail. He did not believe that war was inevitable.
