ARMISTICE DAY IN PARTS.— The lust Armistice Day (November 11) was celebrated in France by a gigantic display of military force, troops and mechanised units taking part in a grand inarch past at the Are de Triomphe in Paris. The photograph shows a tank unit passing the grave of the “Unknown Soldier,” which is placed at the base of the Arc de Triomphe.
