ROYAL FAMILY’S CHRISTMAS GATHERlNG.— Sandringham House, Norfolk, where the traditional Christmas gathering of the Royal Family will be held. A recent cable message stated that the arrangements that ex-King Edward was making for the disposal of Sandringham had been cancelled, owing to the affection of King George VI for his birthplace. The ex-King previously suggested that the then Duke and Duchess of York should take over Sandringham as their country home.
