KING’S TOURS
VISIT TO BIRMINGHAM NEXT MONTH British Official Wtrelese (Received November 27, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, November 26. The first visit of the King to Birmingham since his accession will take place on December 10 when, on the conclusion of his tour of industrial establishments in South Staffordshire, he will spend three and a half hours in Midland City, to inspect various aspects of local social services.
ERROR OF JUDGMENT STRANDING OF SUGAR COMPANY STEAMER United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 27, 5.5 p.m.) SUVA, November 27. The Court investigating the stranding of the Fiona found that the master committed an error of judgment in mistaking the light on i,e east side of the reef for that on the west, which has somewhat similar characteristics. He was ordered to pay costs amounting to £B/8/-. The vessel was undamaged.
