Anthony Trollope’s posthumous novel, ‘An Old Man's Love,’ will be added to the World’s Classic series. It has not been reprinted since it first appeared two years after his death.
A new volume of Professor George Santayana’s essays, called ‘Obiter Scripta,’ is announced. Although all Professor Santayana’s books have been published in English, he was bom of Spanish parents and spent the first nine years of his life in Madrid. He owes much of his high position as a philosopher to a combination of AngloSaxon thoroughness with Latin perception.
