A PETTICOAT OF VIOLETS
Flowers are seen everywhere. Muffs of real parma violets and camellias are seen in the evening, and for daytime wear whole waistcoats are made of closely-massed artificial flowers. Ofher accessories that are now being made of artificial and sometimes real blooms are small beret-shaped hats, gauntlet cuffs, and deep cavalier collars. handbags, and even petticoats. In one of the spring “collections” an evening gown of white brocade was cleverly looped up in front to show the petticoat of pale mauve violets (says an exchange).
