CORONATION PARKS
NO SUBSIDY FROM GOVERNMENT By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, November 26. “It has definitely been decided that the Government will not grant subsidies towards the cost of acquiring Coronation parks,” states the Hon. F. Langstone, i . a letter received by Mr J. B. Paterson, chairman of the Waitakere Comonation Park Committee. The Minister states that he sees no way of assisting in the acquisition of the areas which the committee desires to purchase in the bush on the Waitakere ranges for the purposes of the park.
