WEST END CLUB The West End Miniature Rifle Club’s last shoot of the season took the form of a novelty event. The Roberts target was used, and slings were discarded. A team shoot, off the left shoulder, was held later on in the evening. Scores went to prove that good shooting can be done with the left eye. Results were: —J. McKay 79, H. Currie 79, F. TIMARU CLUB

The Timaru Miniature Rifle Club finished the season’s shooting on Tuesday. The club championship resulted in ties for first and third places.
