NEW PLEASURE YACHT ORDERED United Press Association—By Elec*r’c Telegraph—Copyright (Received September 24, 9.15 p.m.) LONDON, September 24. “The News Chronicle” says: “The King has apyroved toe plans of a new 4,000-ton yacht to replace the present Victorian and Albert. The new vessel will embody all the latest devices, including an arrangement for hoisting seaplanes aboard, a squash court, swimming pool and gymnasium. Changes in Royal Estate The King is reorganising the working of the Royal Estate at Sandringham, entailing a reduction of staff, but he has ordered that no employee shall be discharged until he has secured another Job. Many farms previously held by King George are being split up and apportioned to existing tenant farmers. The retained farms are to be mechanised with the latest appliances.
