MISS J. HORWELL SUCCESSFUL WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP IN MID-CANTERBURY The Mid-Canterbury Women’s Golf Championship tourney was continued yesterday, when further progress was made. Miss Jean Horwell, of Timaru, who played well the previous day, easily maintained her lead, and in the senior championship ran out a winner by a substantial margin.
