BRILLIANT RECEPTION PLANNED KING’S VISIT TO TURKEY United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph - Convright (Received September 3, 12.5 a.m.) ISTAMBUL, September 2. A brilliant reception is being prepared for King Edward on September 4. The Straits batteries will fire a Royal salute. The Mayor has prepared a programme of regattas and gymkhanas for His Mcjesty, who will visit the English cemetery at Hairdarpasha. He will be a guest of Kemal Dolmapgtche Palace, the President’s residence at Istambul. Later he will visit Constanza and Crete. The press lavishly prints photographs of His Majesty, declaring him the world’s most popular sovereign.
