OTAIO SUB-ASSOCIATION In the Otaio Sub-Association’s competitions, St. Andrews and Pareora A tied. The play-off was held at Springbrook and after a hard fought game Pareora A won the Hoskins Cup for the third successive year. The winning team was: J. Munro, H. Lange, R. Baker, M. Longman, N. Thompson, I. Hurst, C. Smallridge, K. Topp and O. Munro. The final score was 14-12. Representative games have been arranged against Waimate Association at Springbrook on Saturday, and against Timaru on September 9. The activities of the Otaio Sub-Asso-ciation will close with the annual field day to be held at St. Andrews on September 12.
