SOLO FLIGHT
CONTEMPLATED BY WOMAN FKOM KENYA British Official Wireless (Received September 1, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, August 31. Mrs Beryl Markham, of Kenya, who is contemplating a solo flight across the Atlantic, has chosen Abingdon aerodrome as her place of departure, as the aerodrome provides space for the extra long run required by a machine overloaded with fuel at the start.
