BUSINESS .OTICES PUBLIC NOTICE TIMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL NiOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Resolutions were passed by the Timaru Borough Council at a Special Meeting held on the 24th day of August, 1936, and will be submitted for confirmation as Special Orders at a Meeting of the Council to be held at the Borough Council Chambers. King George’s Place, Timaru. on MONDAY, the 28th day of September, 1936, at 7.30 o’clock p.m. The object or nurport of the said Resolutions is as follows: (a) That the Council resolves to make a By-law to come into force on the 10th day of October. 1936, which adds to supplements and alters the existing By-laws with reference to the charging and returning of deposits made in connection with electricity accounts. (b) That the Council resolves to sell that parcel of land situated in Grasmere Street, Timaru. containing 1 rood 1 perch being Lot 7 Deposit Plan 3808. A copy of the said By-law has been deposited at the Office of the Council in King George’s Place, Timaru, aforesaid, and is open for inspection by the public without payment during office hours which are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on week days except Saturdays when such hours are from 9 a.m. to noon.
