DRAFTS AND MONEY
THEFT ALLEGED BY STEWARDS By Association WELLINGTON. August 31 Frederick James and Peter John Fredrick Ransom, stewards on the Rangitane which arrived from Southampton to-day. were charged before Mr R. Ferner. S.M.. with theft on the high seas between Panama and Wellington of drafts and money of the total value of £7lO. belonging to the New Zealand Shipping Company. They were remanded till Wednesday.
