SCHOOL JUBILEE
” OLD TIME ” DANCE The older generation of the ex-pupils of the Rangitata Station School, as it was originally known, who are celebrating the golden jubilee of the School, spent a delightful evening in the Rangitata Hall on Thursday, when a most successful “old time” dance was held. The hall was most effectively decorated with gold and blue streamers, while the supper-room, which was converted into a lounge, was tastefully decorated with streamers. Old-time dances, for which old time music was supplied by a local orchestra, were greatly enjoyed by the large attendance. Extras were played by Mrs J. Charles and Messrs G. Coulter and M. Murphy.
Messrs B. McNab and M. Metcalf were M.C’s.
