FIELD FLOWER DECORATIONS Field flowers, so fashionable in prints and posies for frocks, are being revived for interior decoration. Florists In London are now selling the requisite grasses to make a background for the flowers, as well as providing a cool splash of green in the decorative scheme. Crinolines of net supported by bands of wired chenille are the latest departures in the thistledown types of frocks which are constructed in layers. For a reception in Paris a woman with copper coloured hair chose a frock of white crepe draped in Grecian fashion over one shoulder, leaving the other bare, and added no jewels. White organdi embroidered with frills is fresh and cool for summer evening wear, and was chosen with good effect by a younger guest. Organdi is one of the most popular summer fabrics abroad, and from the house of Patou comes a frock of white organdi with a black redingote embroidered in white in lace design. The fashion of wearing crisp white frills and jabots as a relief to dark, tailored frocks is frequently rejected because of laundering difficulties. The Bohemian manufacturer of the daintiest white metal bows guaranteed to retain their freshness in any heat wave, seems to have overcome the difficulty. The new accessories come from the famous glass-producing area.
