PROPOSED ISSUE IN AUSTRALIA United Press Association - By Electric Telegraph —Copyright CANBERRA, August 22 The Federal Treasurer, Mr Casey, will place before Cabinet a proposal for the issue of 5/- notes. Mr Casey said he had considered the inconvenience caused to the public by lack of a monetary token of value between 2/- and 10/-, and believed the issue of 5/- notes will prevent weighing down the pockets by loose silver.
