She should get away later for Lyttelton. The Karetu, which was listed for yesterday, will not arrive until tomorrow when she is to discharge and load general Australian cargo. From here she is to proceed to Lyttelton. The Waipiata also is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday. She is due from Dunedin for Picton, Wellington and Auckland loading. Mataroa Arrives Home Cabled advice has been received by the Shaw, Savill ’Company that its liner Mataroa reached Southampton last Sunday afternoon. She left Auckland on July 11 for Southampton and London via the Panama Canal, Kingston and Curacao. Marama’s Transhipments The Union Company’s Marama from Sydney, brought transhipments ex Strathaird, Canberra, More ton Bay, Carlisle, Duntroon, Taipang, Yoye Maru, Orsova, Nankin, Mildura, Macedon, Orungal, Surada, Alster, Leuna, Neiuw, Holland, City of Manila, and Tugaren. Tamahine for Overhaul The Union Company’s steamer Tamahine was to leave Picton on Friday for Wellington, instead of on Saturday, and on her arrival there will withdraw for overhaul and survey. She will resume her running on Wednesday, August 26.
