FARMER DROWNED
EVIDENCE OF SUICIDE By Telegraph—Press Association WHANGAREI, August 22 The body of Frank Linnell (39), married, with five children, a farmer at Poroti, was found in the river yesterday. ’The discovery of a note on a box near the cowshed, stating his intention to drown himself, led to a search by the police. Deceased was a returned soldier, and was in rceipt of a disability pension. He was one of the best known dairy farmers in the north.
