CANTERBURY DEFEATED
By Telegraph—Press Association INVERCARGILL, August 23. In a men’s representative match yesterday, Southland defeated Canterbury by 6 goals to 1. Rain fell practically throughout the game,-and there were pools of water on the ground. Victory went to the stronger though no less clever team.
