SHOTS FIRED AT TAXI United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph- Copyright JERUSALEM, 20. A shot fired at a taxi driving near Ramleh, killed the driver. The taxi skidded and collided with a “Black Maria” van conveying prisoners. It then overturned and three passengers were injured. A British constable fired at the assailants from the prison van, and police dogs trailed two men, who were arrested. It is reported that the prisoners escaped from the van.
